The young Frenchman is flattered by the interest from Los Blancos.
Yet Camavinga insists he just wants to focus on his personal development apart than anything else.
Speaking to Telefoot about how he feels getting linked to big clubs like Real Madrid, Eduardo Camavinga said: “Certainly when a big club is interested, it is nice. But I am not getting carried away. I took this choice with my family (to stay at Rennes).
“Today we are happy to have made this decision. I just need to focus on football and not think too much about everything else around it. Life is very good at the moment. Life is very good at the moment.”
While the young French midfielder tries to hide his excitement, it’s very likely that Madrid will sign him up next summer. Los Blancos are already in an advanced position to sign him and both parties have already spoken to each other about a potential move.
Camavinga recently became the youngest player to make his debut for the France national team and has started the season pretty well with Rennes, scoring one goal and assisting one in 3 appearances.
