Karius is now heading out to Germany to finalise a transfer.
Football Insider reports the 27-year-old has been granted permission to undergo a medical today and try to reignite a career that has stalled since his calamitous performance in the 2018 Champions League final.
A Liverpool source hsays the club have accepted a “significant" loan bid for Karius to join for the 2020-21 season.
Karius did preseason with Liverpool after spending last term on-loan with Trabzonspor.
