Manchester United has never been interested in bringing back Memphis Depay ahead of Barcelona: Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United were never interested in bringing Memphis Depay back to Old Trafford.

Instead, he's now set to join Barcelona.

When the Dutch attacker left to join Lyon in 2017, United had included the right of first refusal in case he moves again.

And now that he's on the verge of joining the Catalans, it seems like the Red Devils have no room for him in the current squad.

The 26-year-old scored hit double digits for the French club only in 2017/18, scoring 19 goals.

However, he scored 10 in the next and 9 in the last campaign.
