Manchester United winger Chong nets double in Werder Bremen friendly win

Manchester United loaned winger Tahith Chong struck twice for Werder Bremen in friendly action yesterday.

The on-loan midfielder bagged two goals as he played the full 90 minutes of Bremen's 7-0 pre-season friendly win over BSV Rehden.

The Bundesliga season doesn't get underway until September 18.

His first goal was an emphatic finish from the edge of the box as he latched onto a loose ball and fired it into the bottom corner.

The second strike was also impressive as he ghosted into the box to get on the end of a deep cross, took a touch to bamboozle the goalkeeper and then slotted home.
