Marcos Alonso could leave Chelsea this week after his dressing room spat with Frank Lampard.

Marcos Alonso set to leave Chelsea this week.

Alonso was lambasted by his manager because he watched the second-half of Saturday's 3-3 draw with West Bromwich Albion after being subbed.

And The Sun says the Spaniard looks set to be sold this summer after the incident.

Ben Chilwell was already brought in to become Lampard's starting left-back this summer.

But now a role off the bench will not be available for Alonso, with Lampard desperate to get him out of the club before the October 5 transfer deadline.

Lampard has done a u-turn with his decision, having previously decided to sell Emerson Palmieri and keep Alonso.

But Italy international Emerson was on the bench for Tuesday's loss to Tottenham, while Alonso missed out altogether.
