Napoli in contact over the availability of Chelsea player Emerson Palmieri

According to Sky Italia, Napoli have made a contact with the representatives of Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri.

The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and is likely to be available for sale.

However, Napoli are only interested in a loan move at the moment, and even this would be closely linked to by a possible departure of their own full-back Faouzi Ghoulam.

This is why this story might not get further development in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are understood to be keeping tabs on Emerson as well but, as per recent reports, they prefer Marcos Alonso out of the Chelsea left-backs.

Antonio Conte's club have reportedly baulked at the Blues' asking price for the Italy International which is rumoured to be in the region of €25m.
