Real Madrid attacker Hazard called up for Belgium duty despite concerns over ankle

Eden is yet to start a single game for Madrid this season.

Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have been called up for international duty with Belgium for upcoming games against Ivory Coast, England and Iceland.

The Belgian's ankle hasn't been in the best condition, with Belgium coach Roberto Martinez acknowledging that Hazard will need treatment before and after games for the rest of his career.

However, it looks like caution has been thrown to the wind. The last time he went on international duty, he reported late to Real Madrid training.

Hazard is yet to start a single game for Los Blancos this season but has been included in the squad for Real Valladolid.
