Real Madrid to give Varane and Mendy days of isolation after Mbappe tests positive for Covid-19

Both Player came in close contact with the infected PSG star during the ongoing France camp for the Nations League games.

Real Madrid will pay close attention to Raphael Varane and Ferland Mendy after their fellow countryman Kylian Mbappe tested positive for coronavirus, as per Arancha Rodriguez.

The two Real Madrid stars spent the last week together with Mbappe and lived together in France’s camp for their UEFA Nations League matches.

Mbappe will have to self-isolate himself for two weeks now and will miss France’s game against Croatia on Tuesday, but Varane and Mendy are cleared to play.

Zinedine Zidane will hope nothing has happened to his important defenders, whom he’ll need at their healthiest for the La Liga season opener against Real Sociedad on September 20.
