Rivals are jealous of Chelsea's spending spree: Super agent Kia Joorabchian

Joorabchian is very impressed with Chelsea's transfer business as he says that the Blues have backed Lampard as much as possible.

He adds that he knows a lot of other managers who wish that they'd have the same backing from their boards.

However, the super-agent cautions that the pressure is now on Chelsea to perform.

Super agent Kia Joorabchian, who worked on Willian's move from Chelsea to Arsenal told talkSPORT: "Chelsea have spent very well. They’ve backed Frank to the full – that’s been the key.

"I know a lot of managers who wish they had been backed in that way. I think the pressure is on Chelsea to perform."

Joorabchian also believes that the Blues have gotten their value for money: "The market will still continue.

"But having said that I think Chelsea have bought what they’ve bought, but they’ve probably paid 20 or 30 per cent less than they would have done in a buoyant market."

The Blues have signed 6 players so far this summer in what has been a legendary transfer window and one more is reportedly on his way - Edouard Mendy from Rennes, who could be Chelsea's last signing of the summer.

Lampard has said that he understands the pressure on him after this major spending spree.

However, the business that director Marina Granovskaia has done has been supremely smart and we can't wait to see the team in action soon! Follow us on Google newsTwitter and on Facebook
