Sergi Roberto has confessed that Atletico Madrid will be much stronger with Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez is set to join Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal.

Sergi Roberto is in no doubt that this would make the Rojiblancos much stronger.

At the moment he's still at Barca, Roberto notes.
"At the moment Luis Suarez is still with us.

If he ends up leaving, Atletico Madrid will become a much stronger team," Sergi Roberto has said in a talk with RAC1.

However, it seems like today's training session was the last one for Luis Suarez in the Blaugrana kit. According to reliable outlets, the striker has agreed a deal with Atletico and Josep Maria Bartomeu gave his yes on the move as well.

Following the departure of Alvaro Morata, Atletico reportedly plan to offload Diego Costa. With Joao Felix and Luis Suarez upfront, the Rojiblancos could still be a team Barca should watch out for.
