Ter Stegen provides update on his kneel injury and goal for Barcelona new season

Ter Stegen is looking forward to creating 'new group' with the new incoming players and coaches.

Marc is very ambitions, looking to win all possible titles this season.

"The knee is very, very good. We have a very long season ahead of us and we need to be in shape," Diario Sport quote Marc-Andre ter Stegen saying during a sponsored event.

Interestingly, this contradicts an earlier report saying that Marc's return would be delayed because of his recovery process going slower than expected.

As a reminder, the goalkeeper underwent surgery back in August as he was dealing with a chronic knee injury. Ter Stegen is expected to be back in training in November. In his absence, Neto is acting as the first-choice goalie.

The German also spoke about the goals for the 2020/21 season and the 'new group' that's forming at Barcelona.

“There have been some changes and we have to create a new group, with new ‘feelings’. The final goal has not changed and we will fight for everything.

We need people to understand the changes and be in perfect shape during the season because it will be very long."
