Thiago says that Busquets is one of the best midfielders in the world.
He believes that younger midfielders have to look at Sergio if they want to improve.
"Sergio Busquets is a reference player, and not only in recent years in which we have had a formidable personal relationship but also because of the footballing relationship," Thiago has told Diario Sport.
"From Sergio, you can see how he positions himself, how he leads the team and it is a joy to watch him train and play.
We have all had games that are not so good, but you just have to look at his presence on the field, the statistics, he has the highest midfield numbers in the world.
"Midfielders have to look at Sergio Busquets in order to continue evolving."
