Trincao names Messi and Ronaldo to be his idols: 4 quality that Barcelona gem have from both super star

In an earlier interview, Barcelona's newcomer Francisco Trincao named Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as his football idols. Lets take a look at what aspects of the two legendary players Trincao has implemented in his game.

Dribbling — Messi
Just like Barca's captain, Trincao loves playing with the ball at his feet, and what's more important, he doesn't give it away easily. In his very first match for the Catalans, the 21-year-old recorded two nutmegs in the best tradition of Messi.

Check out Trincao's moves vs Gimnastic:

Passing — Messi
Once again, Francisco's is closer to Messi in this aspect than he is to Ronaldo as he is more of a creative player. The youngster is great at setting up his teammates with his crosses and through balls. His chip to Konrad de la Fuente in the Nastic match was pure art, too bad the referee ruled the goal out for offside.

Shooting — Messi
We haven't seen Trincao shots for Barca yet but his the goals he scored for Braga remind us more of Messi. Besides, he's left-footed, just like the Argentinian, and relies more on accuracy than on power when aiming at the goal.

Work rate — Ronaldo
Trincao is very active on the pitch when off the ball, he helps a lot defensively and is not afraid to press high when the coach asks him to. In this aspect, he's closer to Ronaldo. His working rate is exactly what Leo needs, as the 33-year-old doesn't run too much when out of possession.
