Agent reveals Lautaro's dreams of playing with Messi at Barcelona

Beto Yaque confirms nothing concrete arrived for the Argentine despite Barca's strong interest.

But he hasn't discussed a new deal with Inter either.

"Many things have been said about Lautaro’s possible transfer, there have been many rumours. Everyone wanted him but there was nothing concrete," Lautaro Martinez's agent Beto Yaque told TNT Sports.

On the striker's future, the agent said: "He still has three years left on his contract, the transfer window has just closed, we haven’t sat down yet to talk about the renewal with Inter."

Lautaro is currently on the international duty with Argentina and Yaque added some fuel to the Barca rumours, adding: "He is enthusiastic about the team and playing alongside Messi is a dream for him."

The 23-year-old used to be Barca's main candidate to replace Luis Suarez this summer but the deal never happened because of the Catalan club's financial situation and Inter's demands.

Lautaro has enjoyed a strong start to the 2020-2021 campaign, netting 3 goals in as many Serie A appearances.
