Ansu Fati and Dest 7: Barcelona players rating in Real Madrid loss

Here's how Blaugrana players fared in the first Clasico of the season.

Leo Messi — 7.5

Leo Messi has been Barcelona's main man on the pitch, creating chances for himself and for his teammates. Ronald Koeman has given more freedom to the Argentine and he's been brilliant

Ansu Fati — 7

Ansu Fati is now the youngest goalscorer in the El Clasico history. He was asked to play as a centre-forward against Real Madrid and he did more than enough to impress. However, he hasn't had the ball too often.

Sergio Busquets — 4

Terrible, just terrible. Sergio Busquets was meant to provide possession and calmness on the ball, but he's lost possession more often than it should be acceptable. No pace, no intensity, same old OLD Busquets.

Clement Lenglet — 5

Clement Lenglet has been on a decline for a while now, he's never looked like his old self after that Bayern Munich game. Although the penalty Madrid were gifted was no penalty at all, Lenglet should know better than that. You don't hold Madrid players by their T-shirts, it's too risky.

Philippe Coutinho — 5.5

Philippe Coutinho was almost non-existed against Madrid, that's what you get when you move him back to the left-wing. The Brazilian's shooting and passing was off. The coach moved him to midfield late in the second half but it resulted in nothing good.

Others: Neto —  6.5, Dest —  7, Pique —  6, Alba —  7, De Jong —  6, Pedri —  6, Trincao — n/a, — Dembele — n/a, Griezmann — n/a, Braithwaite — n/a,
