Arsenal has eliminated Liverpool on penalties in the Carabao Cup as Leno proves his top class.
Leno - 9.5
The German put in an outstanding display at Anfield. He parried every single attempt on target, showing phenomenal reflexes in some episodes. Shootouts have never been Leno's strong side, but he managed to deny the opponent twice.
Gabriel - 8
The Brazilian looked very composed with the ball at his feet throughout the 90 minutes in the face of Liverpool pressing. He could hardly be blamed for conceded chances as well, marking opponents tightly and positioning himself perfectly at the back. Overall, another promising display from the Brazilian.
Saka - 7.5
Looked potent going forward and solid defensively. Arsenal attacking efforts were mainly built through the Bukayo's involvement in the first half. Was taken off the pitch with what looked like cramp in the closing stages.
Pepe - 7
Looked very bright showing his flair and zest at spells. Crucially, the defensive side of his game was much improved in comparison with some previous games. Curled in a superb cross for Holding but Rob failed to finish it with a header. In the shootout, converted his penalty calmly.
