Barcelona has officially announce €97m loss in revenue for 2019/2020 season due to covid 19.

The covid-pandemic has hit the club very hard.

Barcelona have closed the 2019/20 financial year with a €97m loss.

The total revenue for the 2019/20 season is €855m which is €204 less than their expected figure pre-pandemic.

The club have managed to save €42m in wages last season.

Their debt, however, has risen from €217m in June 2019 to €488m in June 2020.

Thus, even if the new board come, the priority task will be to continue reducing the losses in order to secure a better financial future for the club.
