Barcelona President End is now: Motion of no confidence reaches the required number of validated votes

Bartomeu could be impeached already next month.

The motion of no confidence against the Barcelona board has just reached the required number of validated votes.

16,521 signatures out of a total of 20,687 have been confirmed.

Now, the club will have to call a referendum which will take place within a period of not less than ten working days and not more than twenty.

Then, it's required that at least 10% of the club members take part in the voting and 2/3 of them want the president and the board removed.

However, Josep Maria Bartomeu could possibly resign before the process begins.

The president has been heavily criticised this year following the Barcagate corruption scandal, the coaching merry-go-round and the handling of Leo Messi's situation.
