Barcelona Sporting director confirms no negotiations with Manchester United for Dembele'

On the contrary, Barca hope that the Frenchman will show his best version this season.

"There are no negotiations with United for Dembele," Barcelona technical director Ramon Planes said on Friday.

"We count on him a lot and we hope that this year he can show his best version."

As per some reliable sources, the Catalans and Man United have been in talks over a loan deal for the Frenchman over the past few days.

As it appears now, the 23-year-old won't be leaving the Blaugrana in this transfer window. What's more, Ronald Koeman is counting on Dembele for the 2020/21 campaign.
