Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori rejects West Ham loan offer to remain at the bridge

Fikayo Tomori has refused to join West Ham on loan, as per Sky Sports and other sources.

Chelsea became open to loaning the young centre-back out after any chances to offload Antonio Rudiger had disappeared.

The two London clubs have agreed a deal which would include a 'huge' loan fee.

However, Tomori declined the offer just 10 minutes before the transfer deadline at 11pm on Monday.

Now, Frank Lampard will have 5 centre-backs to choose from, with some of them bound to be disappointed with the lack of playing time.
