Chelsea star Marcos Alonso still hopeful of Inter move after getting dressing down from Frank Lampard

Antonio Conte is also believed to be interested in reuniting with his former wing-back.

According to The Times, Marcos Alonso is keen on ending his spell with Chelsea after Frank Lampard gave him a furious dressing down following a 3-3 draw against West Bromwich.

The Spaniard is said to be eager to join Inter Milan, with Antonio Conte interested in his services.

Alonso was at fault for two of three goals Chelsea conceded in the first half against West Bromwich; along with Mateo Kovacic, he was subbed off at half-time.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, while the Croat joined his teammates in the stands, the left-back tried to watch the second half on the team coach rather than with the rest of the substitutes.

As per the source, Lampard handed Alonso a furious dressing down in front of his teammates after the incident, with Chelsea players reportedly describing the boss 'the angriest they’ve ever seen him'.
