Coutinho and Messi now bonding well with 9 each: Barcelona vs Celta Vigo players Rating

Barcelona attack is now becoming something other teams in La Liga are now thinking about with the attacking threat of Messi-Coutinho-Fati getting better each day.

Here's how our players fared in the first away match of the season.

Coutinho — 9
Philippe Coutinho's level of confidence is staggering, this is exactly what he lacked in his first fool season at Barcelona. The Brazilian was the team's heart in attack in the first half, creating several good chances for his teammates.

In the second half, he was moved to the right flank with Barca defending in a 4-4-1 formation, and Phil was magnificent. Top performance from the 28-year-old.

72 mins
1 assist
45/50 passes
90% passing accuracy
1 key pass
1/1 long balls
1/1 dribble
2 shots (hit woodwork once)
5/5 ground duels
1/2 aerial dues
1 clearance
2 tackles

Fati — 9
Once again, it took Ansu Fati a single shot on target to score, his conversion rate is perhaps the best in the game. The 17-year-old was very active in attack and just like in the Villarreal game, most of Barca's danger came from the left flank. Fati was also good in possession and came very close to assisting Leo Messi with an exquisite nutmeg pass.

72 mins
1 goal
31/38 passes
82% passing accuracy
1/1 cross
4/6 dribbles
9/13 ground duels
1/1 aerial duels
2 tackles

Messi — 9
After a quiet first half, Leo was in 'absolute beast' mode after the break. Stats won't show it but he's responsible for both of our goals in the second half. The own goal came after an impressive solo run from the Argentinian forward, and Sergi Roberto's strike was possible thanks to a brilliant piece of skill and a precise shot from Messi.

60/65 passes
92% passing accuracy
2 key passes
3/3 long balls
7/15 ground duels
2 shots
2/3 dribbles

Neto — 8
Neto's passing game might not be at the same level as that of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, but he was extremely good at his main job — making sure the ball doesn't go into Barca's net. Now it's two clean sheets in a row for the Brazilian. If Neto keeps up the good performances, Ter Stegen will have to work hard to get his spot in the starting XI back.

3 saves
1 punch
1 save from inside the box
21/33 passes
64% passing accuracy
2 clearances

Lenglet — 4
No matter whether the second yellow was deserved or not, Clement Lenglet should definitely learn to keep his hands to himself, especially when you are already on a yellow.

It wouldn't have been as terrible if the second card came somewhere in the 75th minute. But to be sent off in the first half? Lenglet should know better.

Unlike in the previous match, the centre-back's passing vs Celta Vigo was poor and he ended up losing possession quite a few times. Thankfully, the team managed to win the match despite being down to 10 men.

2 yellow cards (sent off)
1 tackle
2/4 ground duels
1/1 aerial duel
32/40 passes
80% passing accuracy
4/8 long balls
2/4 ground duels
1/1 dribble
Others: Roberto — 6.5, Pique — 7, Alba — 6, Busquets — 7, De Jong — 7.5, Griezmann — 6, Araujo — 6.5, Trincao — 5, Pedri — 6.
