He is a little bit sad': Real Madrid keeper Courtois backs Hazard to bounce back from latest injury setback

Hazard was included in the squad to face Valladolid but was ruled out due to an injury. Courtois has revealed that his compatriot was looking forward to playing again.

After the 1-0 win over Real Valladolid, Thibaut Courtois was asked about Eden Hazard and he told Movistar: "Hazard is a little sad, he was training very well, it's a little setback. It's not the ankle.

"I hope he's back soon. Hazard was looking forward to playing again."

The Belgian winger was included in Real Madrid's squad to face Valladolid but unfortunately, he picked up an injury hours before the game.

As one may expect, fans are not pleased - especially since Hazard has spent a good majority of his time at Madrid on the sidelines.

He was also included in the Belgium squad for the upcoming internationals but naturally, Eden will not travel anytime soon.
