I'm ready to beat Koeman up just to keep Depay at Lyon: Lyon coach Rudi Garcia

Lyon boss Rudi Garcia has pointed out how important Dutch attacker Memphis Depay is to the team and is satisfied with his current form and is willing to do anything just to see the striker stay put in Lyon.

"[It] makes me think about putting a tackle on Koeman when the time is right. But when the time is right, I will do it," Lyon's head coach Rudi Garcia jokingly said while discussing the Memphis Depay rumours.

"I'm not surprised [about Depay's form]. He does what he says he is good at. He needed time after his long injury layoff.

"He didn't have 90 minutes in his legs previously. At the start of the season, we hoped that he could deliver what he is doing now. He plays the role of captain excellently. He's very important to me as a coach," the Frenchman concluded.

The former Manchester United man has scored 5 goals and 3 assists for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season.
