Koeman reacts to Pedri's performance: 'It's normal for press to talk about him, he is a very humble boy'

The coach believes the noise in the media is understandable given the youngster's stellar display against Juventus.

The Dutchman says Pedri is unfazed by the reactions with his feet on the ground.

"At 17 years [of age], playing the Clasico and then against Juventus, and to do it so well... It's normal for the press to talk about him," Ronald Koeman said when asked on Pedri's staggering rise.

On the promising midfielder, the coach added: "He is a very humble boy who has his feet on the ground. He enjoys his games and has the help of his teammates to shine if he plays."

Pedri produced a stellar performance against Juventus, destroying 32-year-old Juan Cuadrado several times.
