The manager isn't happy that the team were losing the ball too often in the first half however, he's excited about the goalscoring chances Barca created.
"Maybe it [the Celta game] was a strong match with one man less and wet pitch, today [against Sevilla] we lacked freshness and a spark. It was a strong start," Ronald Koeman said on Sunday night.
"We weren't at our best in the first half, we lost the ball a lot in the first half. We also had the best chances of the game and I'm very happy with that," the Dutchman also noted.
It's fair to say that Barca didn't create enough chances to win the game. According to The xG Philosophy, the Catalans registered just 0.94 expected goals while Sevilla almost doubled that number, 1.80.
Besides, there was little difference in the teams' possession stats: 54 per cent for Barca vs Sevilla's 46.
