Peter Crouch advice Chelsea to cash on Callum Hudson-Odoi after Bayern Munich offer.

The winger is targeted by Bayern Munich, and Crouch argues it could be a good deal for Chelsea.
He does not believe Hudson-Odoi has improved as much as expected at Stamford Bridge.

Ultimately, though, it's Frank Lampard's opinion that matters, the pundit points out.

"It comes down to what Frank [Lampard] thinks of the player," former Liverpool and Tottenham striker Peter Crouch told BT Sport about the Callum Hudson-Odoi situation.

"It’s clear he has potential and he will improve. But has he improved since he was that 18-year-old who burst onto the scene and took our breath away? Maybe not. I don’t think he’s improved at the level that I think they would have thought he would.

"Maybe it’s time [to cash in]. You look at Liverpool cashing in on Rhian Brewster… If you can get a buy-back clause and a potential sell-on fee it might not be a bad deal given the amount of money and the investments Chelsea have already made."

It's been reported (and actually confirmed by the manager) that Bayern Munich have revived their interest in the Chelsea winger. The Athletic even states that the Blues have rejected a loan offer with a ₤70m buyout option.

As Lampard does not look like he's burning with desire to offload Hudson-Odoi, the chances of any deal happening are really slim. We won't be waiting for the end of it for too long, as the transfer window slams shut tomorrow.
