It looks as though Manchester United star Edinson Cavani is set to make his long-awaited debut in the Premier League against Chelsea.
Since arriving at Old Trafford, the former Napoli and PSG star has impressed his team-mates and the coaching staff too.
Cavani was not fit enough to start against his former side, however, there is a possibility that the Uruguayan will start at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in an exclusive interview with the club provided updates in terms of team news and there are some signs of hope after all.
“He might be ready for the squad as well for this weekend.”
The Norwegian praised Cavani’s determination in training and his desire to be match-fit as soon as possible:
“He’s been training hard and been training well. I think he’ll be available for the weekend.”
United have won two and lost two out of the first four games and languish in a mid-table spot with six points.
