La Liga have revealed the sides' salary limits for the 2020-2021 season and Barca have suffered a huge drop, close to €300m.
Their current wage cup is set at €382.7m but it was at a whopping €671m last year.
Real Madrid are leading the way with €468.5m, jumping on top for the first time since the 2016-2017 season.
Earlier, it's been reported that Barca have to reduce their wages bill by €190m to avoid potential bankruptcy.
