Buhari Set To Concession Four National Stadiums For ₦100 Million

Buhari Concession Four National Stadiums

Plans are underway by the Federal Government to concession to private companies the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja and three other stadiums across Nigeria for a hundred million Naira, as reflected in the 2021 budget.

The other stadiums for concession are the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos; the Jos International Stadium and Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

The MKO Abiola Stadium and the National Stadium in Lagos have not seen any form of maintenance for many years, thus forcing the Super Eagles and the other national teams of different grades and gender to play their home games in other stadiums.
