Frank Lampard’s Wife Christine Banned From Holding Social Gatherings

Frank Lampard’s Wife Christine Banned

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed his wife Christine is banned from organising social gatherings after the club’s matches.

The 42-year-old leads the Blues back into Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to the north east to face Newcastle United.

And his TV presenter wife will be hoping Chelsea keep up their strong recent form, which saw them win four matches in a row before the international break.

The Blues manager admits he’s “a nightmare” if the west Londoners lose – which is why there are no dinner parties in the Lampard household on match days.

“We’re not allowed to arrange dinners or any kind of get-together after games in case the worst comes to the worst,” said Lampard, speaking on the Eddie Hearn: No passion, No Point podcast.

“Because if we lose I’m a nightmare. I can’t help it, it’s just par for the course.”

Lampard remains Chelsea’s all-time top scorer, having netted 211 goals from midfield in 648 games for the club between 2001 and 2014.
