James reveals the 2 toughest opponents in his career

Chelsea young right-back James named Liverpool's left-sided duo as the toughest players he's had to mark in his career.

James believes Mane is one of the best in the world, while Robertson shows what a modern full-back needs to do.

"My toughest opponent has been Sadio Mane. He is one of the best wingers in the league, if not the world," James told The Athletic.

"He is strong, quick, good on the ball and one of the toughest to play against, and then you also have Andy Robertson on the outside.

"It used to be about defending but now it is about not only being very good at defending but offering a big attacking threat," James concluded.

Liverpool's wide players have shown the template for other teams to follow in the last couple of years, and if there's one right-back who can challenge and emulate Liverpool's players, it's Reece James.

Along with Chilwell on the left flank, the pair could soon become the best full-back pairing in the league.
