Koeman explains decision to bench Griezmann

Koeman reveals he started Griezmann on the bench due to physical constraints. The coach says Antoine was unlucky not to score more goals this term.

"Antoine Griezmann has played almost every game, and also with the national team. The reason why he only has played 30 minutes today is due to physical constraints," Ronald Koeman said after the 4-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv.

"Griezmann has been working hard from the beginning. He's a happy player who always gives his best for the team and the club. It's too bad he has no luck by scoring more goals. The only way to change this is to work harder. He's trying. Today he scored."

Griezmann started the match against Dynamo on the bench and was subbed on in the 65th minute. The Frenchman ended up with a goal to his name. So far this term, the 29-year-old has registered three goals and one assist in 11 matches for Barcelona.
