Legendary goalkeeper Chilavert laughs off claims Xavi or Iniesta 'helped' Leo win all his Ballons d'Or he describes Messi as 'a genius' coming from another planet.
"Maradona did not win even 1% of what Messi won," Paraguay's legendary goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert told TYC Sports.
"And the Ballon d'Or? The excuse they make is that Messi played with Xavi, Iniesta and the whole Barcelona team. Messi is a genius and he's above the rest."
On Leo, he concluded: "Messi is a genius, he's on another planet. The rest of us are on earth."
Messi has won 6 Ballon d'Or awards which is the all-time record. He has also claimed 4 Champions League trophies. However, he is yet to win the World Cup, something that Diego did in 1986.
