Why Eguavoen Sign NFF Job Contract Papers

Former Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen has revealed that he is yet to append his signature on the contract papers for his newly appointed technical director of the Nigeria football federation role.

In an interview with brila.net, Eguavoan confirmed that the reasons he has not made comments as regards the new role was because he is yet to sign the contract.

However, the 55-year-old said he will make comments once he has concluded all the formalities around the contract.

“I’m not going to say anything until I append my signature, but hopefully in a few days, once we tidy up the contract issues then I can start talking,’’ Eguavoan stated.

Eguavoen was appointed the caretaker coach of Nigeria in June 2005 with his coaching staff including Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi, and Ike Shorunmu.
