Zinedine Zidane is 'absolutely crazy' about Inter's striker Lautaro Martinez, reliable Diario AS say.
The French coach got impressed with the Argentine after he scored and provided an assist in Madrid's 3-2 win against the Nerazzurri in the Champions League this Tuesday.
Zidane has already communicated his wish to Florentino Perez, saying Lautaro would fit into his system better than Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland, Madrid's other long-term target.
Lautaro has long been linked with Barcelona but the Catalans are unable to afford his rumoured €80m transfer fee.
This season, the 23-year-old has scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists in 9 games in all competitions.
