Barca not planning any January signings despite Coutinho's injury

Philippe Coutinho's serious knee injury won't change Barcelona's plans for the winter transfer market, reliable Fernando Polo of Mundo Deportivo reveals.

The Catalans don't have the funds to make any signings - new arrivals continue to be impossible unless there are sales.

Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia remain Barca's targets but the club consider landing them for free in summer.

In the attack, Ronald Koeman will continue to bet on Martin Braithwaite who has scored 5 goals so far this season.

The coach also hopes to have Ansu Fati back already in February, not in March.

As a reminder, Coutinho suffered a meniscus injury in the 1-1 Eibar draw on Tuesday night, he's expected to miss up to 4 months after surgery.
