Barcelona captain Messi sheds light on his post-retirement future

Leo doesn't see himself as a coach. Instead, he'd rather become a sporting director.

"After retirement? I would like to be involved in football, not as a coach, I don't see myself coaching, but maybe as a sporting director," Leo Messi told La Sexta.

It would be interesting to see the Argentine as a sporting director, possibly at Barcelona. 

Perhaps, Messi wants to take his role because of the neverending allegations that he decides who to sign and who to sell at Barca, something that pains him greatly as he has confessed.
