ayern Munich interested in De Jong and Barcelona ready to listen to offer

German giant Bayern Munich is said to be interested in Barcelona Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong and are in contact with his agent, Mundo Deportivo's reputable Miguel Rico reports.

Barcelona is aware of the interest and has reportedly told his agent that, should the Bundesliga outfit decide to make an offer, they are ready to talk.

The Catalans would consider accepting an offer above the €75m plus €11m in add-ons they paid for De Jong back in 2019.

Frenkie is playing his second season at Camp Nou but his performances haven't been at the same level as at Ajax.

So far, the 23-year-old has registered two goals and five assists in 57 matches for Barca.

It should be mentioned that the Dutchman has recently renewed his contract with Blaugrana; his current deal runs until 2026.
