Koeman reacts to Messi interview: 'I don't know if a coach can influence Messi's future'

The coach believes Messi's decision on his future doesn't depend on his current manager or a country he wants to play in.

He adds that Messi's family will have the final say.

"If Messi decides his future, it does not depend on the coach or a country. It is a decision that must be made with his family. I don't know if a coach can influence his future," Ronald Koeman said during a press conference, as quoted by Marca.

Apparently, the Dutchman was referring to the latest rumours in the French media linking Messi with PSG following Mauricio Pochettino's upcoming appointment.
