Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is not interested in making any statements with his team's performance against champions Liverpool.
Spurs are at the top of the table with the Reds at present.
The two teams go head to head on Wednesday in the Premier League.
But Mourinho does not believe a win would make Spurs title favourites.
"We don't want to make any statement, just play a game and win it," said Mourinho told reporters.
"If the responsibility for that is Liverpool's then great if it's ours because we are not able to perform well would be the worst feeling.
"We're not there to make any kind of statement. It doesn't matter the result, on Thursday morning we'll be here and Sunday we will be playing again.
"It's not a statement, it's just a match but we go there and our objective is to win."
