Barcelona fell behind in the 8th minute of the Cadiz game after an error from Oscar Mingueza.
The Barca B defender slipped up during a corner, stood up and wanted to head the ball out of play, but he ended up shooting at his own goal instead.
It is the first goal Barca have conceded in the three matches Mingueza has started.
Barcelona currently seats 7th in the La Liga standings with 14 points from 10 games.
