Thiago Silva reveals 3 coaches who inspire him to take first step towards management

Thiago Silva says that with like Tite, Carlo Ancelotti, and Thomas Tuchel he learnt what not to do and they are managers who understand football very well, suggests Silva.

Brazilian site Globo Esporte also reports that the defender himself started working on his coaching badges earlier in the year.

"We can learn all the time. With some coaches that I worked with, I saw how not to do things, whether it was in man-management or in tactical work. But I also met a lot of good people," Thiago Silva told Brazil's FA.

"If I had to name three coaches whose work inspired me the most, I would have to saw Brazil coach Tite, Carlo Ancelotti, and Thomas Tuchel.

"Regarding Tite and Ancelotti, it’s almost impossible to love one and dislike the other because they are very similar. But the three of them understand football a lot and they stand out on a human level.

"And I can’t avoid mentioning a few of the coaches at the start of my career in Brazil, like Ivo Wortman, Oswaldo de Oliveira, and Renato Gaucho."

Thiago Silva, during his illustrious career, played for both Ancelotti and Tuchel at PSG, while Tite has been coaching Brazil's national side since 2016.

Meanwhile, the likes of Wortman and Gaucho coached the Brazilian during his time at Fluminense from 2006 to 2009.

As per a report by Globo Esporte, a popular Brazilian site, the centre-back started working on License B, the first available coaching badge in Brazil.
