Arsenal Prepare Player-Plus-Cash Bid For Emiliano Buendia

Arsenal are now prepared to make their interest concrete with a formal offer For Norwich’s Emiliano Buendia, according to The Independent.

The Gunners are said to be eyeing a player-plus-cash offer as they look to entice Norwich City into a deal.

Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson are the two players that Arsenal are willing to include.

Norwich are adamant their attacking midfielder will be going nowhere though this month.

Daniel Farke recently issued a ‘hands-off’ warning to any potential buyers.

He said: “Emi is a key player for us, an important member of the group, and he is totally committed to us.

“He is our player and will continue to be our player. He is on a long-term contract so we keep him.

“Everyone knows his qualities – I don’t expect interest just because he scored a wondergoal today. People know what he can do.”

Norwich would reportedly demand up to £40million to agree to a sale.

Arsenal are unlikely to have that kind of money to spend this month.

The Gunners have now begun initial talks with the player’s agent.
