Barcelona B defender Oscar Mingueza's market value sky-rocketed since start of the season

Oscar Mingueza was valued at €200,000 only a few months ago last year when playing for Barcelona B team.

At the start of the season, Oscar Mingueza was merely a regular player at Barcelona B, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €200,000.

Since then, the centre-back's market value has increased by 2,400%, and as of January 2021, he's now worth €5m.

In fact, Mingueza was valued at €3m in December 2020 and his value went up by €2m this month.

Oscar is currently the most expensive player registered at Barca B, tied with Ilaix Moriba and Alex Collado.

The 21-year-old has become an important first-team player due to Gerard Pique's unfortunate injury.

So far this term, Mingueza has made 16 appearances for Barcelona, recording one assist; he's been used at right-back and centre-back.
