Chelsea ‘Hold Talks’ With Tuchel To Become Next Manager

Chelsea Talks With Tuchel

Chelsea have held talks with Thomas Tuchel  – it has been claimed – as the pressure cranks up on Frank Lampard.

Tuchel, who was sacked by PSG last month, is the early bookies’ favourite to replace Lampard if Chelsea lose patience with the club legend.

Former Premier League striker Fjortfoft says the Blues have held preliminary talks with Tuchel about the possibility of becoming the next manager.

Here is what he wrote on Twitter: “Agents and Chelsea – representatives have been talking about bringing Tuchel in.

“I understand no decision has been made in terms of Lampard yet, but if he goes Tuchel is seen as the best replacement In the middle of the season.”

Other names being linked with the Stamford Bridge hot seat include RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann, Massimiliano Allegri and Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Recall that reports yesterday claim that Chelsea would prefer a German-speaking manager who could potentially get the best out of summer signings Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
