Lucas Vazquez has been offered a contract extension on the same wages by Real Madrid but he rejected it because he thinks he deserves to earn more, Marca report.

According to esRadio, the winger doesn't understand why those who've spent less time at the club and have a smaller role than him are getting paid better.

Players like Alvaro Odriozola, Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz are all reportedly earning more than the 29-year-old.

Vazquez's contract at Madrid expires already next summer, meaning he's now free to negotiate with other clubs.

In 19 matches for Los Blancos this term, Lucas has recorded two goals and three assists.
