Former Coach Setien Calls Out Barcelona Over Unpaid Wages

Sacked Barcelona coach Quique Setien revealed that the club hasn’t settled him yet, contract payment wise.

Setien was fired at the end of last season and he voiced our his unhappiness with Barca’s proposed pay-off.

In conversation with his former No2 Eder Sarabia, Setien said on El Larguero: “Barça has not paid me yet, we are waiting.”

Sarabia then touched on their departure, confirming he did not receive a farewell from Lionel Messi.

The new Andorra coach said: “With Messi we did not say goodbye, with many we did not say goodbye because it was a bit of a situation … we almost took it for granted that it could happen and it was a sad and very hard moment and I did not want to talk to anyone.”
