'He is our player, we'll see how January goes': Lampard on Kepa future
\

Lampard says that Kepa is 2nd choice to Edouard Mendy for now. However, the Spanish keeper's attitude has been brilliant in training, per Lampard.

The boss states that he won't be drawn into conversations about Kepa right now.

"Well at the moment he's our player and I think the situation is clear, Edou's [Edouard Mendy] come in, he's been playing regularly as the number one for us," Frank Lampard told reporters.

"And when Kepa came in for the Champions League game he did well, and he's trained really well. His attitude around the place has been brilliant.

"So I won't be drawn on that one at the moment, he's our player, we'll see how January goes. But I don't want to be alluding to what might or might not be."

Kepa could be in line for his first start in over a month as Chelsea get set to play Morecambe in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
