Koeman confirm another Barca youngster Ilaix Moriba to make the squad against Granada

The coach believes his side are missing an extra midfielder after Carles Alena left for Getafe.

He adds that the 17-year-old has been training with the seniors and completed the pre-season with the first team.

"We know that after Carles Alena left on loan to Getafe we are missing a player. Ilaix [Moriba] was doing pre-season with us. He has also been training with the first team so there's a chance he'll be called up for tomorrow's game," Ronald Koeman has just revealed during the press conference.

Moriba made history last season when he became the second-youngest goalscorer for the B team. The 17-year-old midfielder has scored 2 goals in 24 games for Barca B and Barca U19s combined.

Barca face Granada away on Saturday, January 9. Kick-off is at 18:30 CET.
